Apprentice Asia Season 1




This is the Asian version of The Apprentice, for the US version which was hosted by Donald Trump. For the UK version.

The Apprentice Asia ia an Asian reality game show in which a group of aspiring young businessmen and women compete for the chance to work with the Malaysian entrepreneur Tony Fernandes, who also serves as the host of the show. Dubbed as "the world's toughest job interview,"the show is the Asian version of the original American version, The Apprentice and airs on AXN Asia.

The Apprentice Asia premiered on May 22, 2013 and aired every wednesday at 9:05 PM in Hongkong, Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore, and 8:05 PM in Indonesia, In India and Bangladesh the show air every Friday at 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM respectively. 

On July 3, 2013 Jonathan Allen Yabut of the Philippines, a senior product manager, was hired by Fernandes over Andrea Loh Ern-Yu, a civil-and-commercial litigation lawyer of Singapore. Yabut bested other eleven finalist winning a one-year contract and a six-figure salary job in Fernandes'airline Air Asia.

The show was joined by Mark Lankester, CEO of the Tune Hotels'Group, and Kathleen Tan, CEO of Expedia Asia.
