The Philippine national rugby team, nickname the "Volcanoes" represents the Philippines in International rugby union. The Philippines have yet to make debut at the Rugby World Cup, but have been playing in the Asian 5 nations tournaments since its inception in 2008. Currently they are the reigning Division champions and are promoted to the top 5 for the 2013 tournament.

In March 19, 2012 IRB World Rankings, Philippines, along with Mexico and Pakistan, were listed for he first time, entering with the base rating of 40 points (which positioned the three national teams in 71st place). In April 16, 2012 IRB World Rankings, the Philippines ranked 62, their highest rank ever since the team was created. With their unbeaten record in the latest 5 Nations Division 1 tournament, and promotion to the Asian 5 Nations main tournament, the rank of the team rose 5th as they are about to be joining the best of all the Asian teams in 2013.

The Philippines played its first international match in 2006. Rugby union in the Philippines was introduced mainly through the large number of British, Australian and New Zealand expatriates living in the country. In 1998 the Philippine Rugby Football Union (PRFU), the national governing body for rugby union in the  Philippines, was formed and in 2008 the PRFU gained full membership to the international governing body, the International Rugby Board (IRB).

In December 2005, the Philippine national sevens rugby team captured the gold medal in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games rugby sevens tournament (AS demonstration sport). beating Indonesia, 32-5 in Manila.

On May 20, 2006, the Philippines won its international test match debut 18-14 against Guam with the majority of the squad ccomposed of long term expatriate residents and a small number of Filipino players. In December 2006, the Philippines Under-19 went undefeaed in the Asian Rugby Union (ARFU) Under-19 Second Division Tournament.

In December 2007, an all-Filipino rugby team was selected for the 24th South East Asian games in Thailand where they reached the Medal rounds after 2 days of hard fought pool matches. They defeated Malaysia in the semi-finals in golden point extra time, Thailand  finally took control of the game late in the second half to win 29-14. The Silver Medal performance at the South East Asian Games had opened doors for the expansion and development of the game in the Philippines.

In 2008, the Philippines dominated the fourth-tier of the ARFU Asian 5 Nations Series and captured the inaugural Division 4 title. During the tournament, the Philippines demolished Brunei 101-0 and then defeated the home side Guam 20-8 to capture the division title.

In 2009 the Philippine won the inaugural Asian  5  Nations \Division 111 rugby tournament at the Nomads field in Paranaque City. Defeating Iran 15-0 and Guam 25-0 in their two matches, the Philippines were then promoted to the Asian Five Nations Division 11 rugby tournament.

In 2010 the Philippines competed in the Asian 5 Nations Division 11 tournament and won beating India in the final on a score of 44-12. Also in 2012 they played in ARFU Rugby 7s tournaments in Shainghai, Borneo and Asian Games in Guangzhou.

In 2012 the Philippines competed in the Asian 5 Nations Division 1 tournament and went unbeaten in the round-robin series against Singapore, Chinese taipei and Sri Lanka, therefore qualifying for the main division for the first time.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death among people, so we have a lot of physical activity to make our cardiovascular system fit and healthy, but still we need  to look for the potential beneficial solution in a natural and preventative ones. Specific food like Carrots have the potential and preventative impact than other foods.


Carrots shown to provide Amazing Benefits for the Heart in Another Study.

 A study from the Netherlands illustrated just how beneficial carrots can be in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. The study analyzed different fruits and vegetables based on their color, which ltimately indicates the presence of certain nutrient compounds.

They separated produce into four different groups, green, white, red/purple, and orange/yellow. Interestingly, those in the orange/yellow group had the most anti-cardiovascular disease benefits. In particular, those vegetables with deep oranges hues (like carrots) showed the greatest benefit.

As a matter of fact, carrots were found to be the single most risk-reducing fruit or vegetable tested.

Participants in the study were tracked for 10 years, during which time their diet was analyzed for consumption of these foods and their risk reduction. Those who ate the fewest amount of carrots saw the least risk-reduction, though they still experienced reduced risk of heart disease. Those who ate the most carrots saw a reduction by about 32%.

Carrots re rich in antioxidants that are believed to be the muscle in cardiovascular disease prevention.

In other words, the evidence points to obtaining these antioxidant benifits from the whole, natural foods raher than trying to break them down into supplements, for instance.

In addition, phytonutrients like falcarinol and falcarindiol are believed to contribute to carrots' heart healthy benefits. These potent compounds have major anti-inflammatory benefitts, are believed to prevent the clumping of red blood cells, and have been shown to reduce the risk of cancerous "full scale tumors"from developing by 1/3 in some research.

Who will be happy with the Historic decision on gay rights in US?

It was 2 days ago (26/06/13) when US court ruling voted in favor with the same sex couples rights which is given to the other man and a woman couple. Elation was over me when I heard this news in all media coverage from social media, live news, from all around the world.
There were a big celebrations outside the Supreme court in Washington after what has been called a landmark ruling for gay rights activists. Judges ruled in a five to four vote that same sex couples must in law get the same federal rights as heterosexual couples. In a statement President Barack Obama applauded the decision.
The case concerned the constitutionality of a key part of the Defense of Marriage act or DOMA as it's known which denied benefits to same sex married couples.
A second ruling has also been interpreted as a victory for gay rights. The case centered on a California state law called Proposition 8 which banned gay marriage. The Supreme court ruled supporters of the law do not have standing to appeal a lower court ruling that struck down the law.
The Supreme Court's decision do not affect the ban on same-sex marriage enshrined in the constitutions of more than 30 US states.
International celebrity supported this decision were, Beyonce, Ellen de Generes to name a few.

Who is Edward Snowden?

Edward Snowden is the US Intelligence leaked details of top secret American and British government mass surveillance programs to the press. He is a former technical contractor for the National Security Agency(NSA) and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
Snowden expose's based on His revelation about the variety of information in classified intelligence programs, including the interception of US and European telephone metadata and PRISM and Tempora Internet surveillance programs. Additional to this expose's he said that the leaks were an effort "to inform the public as to that which is done in their name and that which is done against them.
June 14, 2013 when US federal prosecutor filed a complaint, made public on June 21, charging Snowden with theft of government property, unauthorized communication of national defense information, and willful communication of classified intelligence to an unauthorized person, the latter two allegations are under the Espionage Act.
He asked for asylum in Hong kong, because NSA employees must declare their foreign   travel 30 days in advance and are monitored. There was a distinct possibility He would be interdicted en route, so He had to travel with no advance booking to a country with the cultural and legal framework to allow him to work without being immediately detained.
Until this moment we don"t know where he is now, whether he apply for the asylum to european country.
With his courage to reveal this information to public made a lot of reaction to the media and ordinary people.They welcome him for his courageous posture he made to the media community and other people around the world, so he made a history by himself. We will continue to watch the next move of US against him.

Edward Snowden  is seeking asylum in  Ecuador but refused by Equador President Rafael Correa, up to this moment Snowden was holed up at  Moscow airport transit area after fleeing from Hongkong.
UPDATE: 01/07/13
President Vladimir Putin clear last Monday That  Snowden was not welcome in Russia with his support to USA, but it seems that  he will hold the American and never hand over to the United States, with one condition he pointed that Snowden should not harm the partners of Russia.

Snowden was rejected his request asylum to France.

Is there really "sex-for-flight"scheme in middle east Philippine Embassy?

Assistant Labor Attache in Riyadh Antonio Villafuerte is among the names that accused in connection with the sex-for flight scheme based in the Philippine Overseas Labor Office ( POLO ) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

If you happen to see and experience working in the middle east, since this country is dominated with male authority. You will know the real situation, like the work of the embassy official only volunteer workers from  other organizations are the one who cater and fill all the loopholes which the embassy official cannot do.
That is why if there wer no complainants will not reveal the true color of the Philippine Embassy Official working in the middle east.
There's no such free as the official in Manila DOF ( Department of Foreign Affairs ) said in His speech with the media. Only our Embassy who ask money with any transaction you want in your own Embassy. I myself  experience this. Not like in other Embassy like Japan which is free even you are foreigner but with exception what is your need.
This issue was on further investigation until this moment in Manila which was first heard in other middle east part, in Kuwait, Jordan, Oman.

7 Actresses Who Should Play Wonder Woman in Justice League

Who will forget the Amazonian Princess known to mortals as Wonder Woman is set to the big screen come Justice Leagues ( 2015 ), with much of the character's onscreen success depending on proper casting.

1. Morena Baccarin- is no stranger to playing women blessed with other worldly beauty, as the exotic and sensual Inara Serra in Joss Whedon's Firefly ( 2002 ), the last of the Ori in Stargate SG-1, and the leader of an invading alien race in V ( 2009 ). Since Diana of Themyscira is a human, not  an alien entity, the role would actually be less of a stretch than usual.
Baccarin has since found stability with Showtime's Homeland, so no one's doubting that she could pull off Wonder Woman. Her built-in fan base 9 and no doubt an endorsement from (Whedon) would certainly help sell the casting.

2. Gina Carano- is an Actress with a knack for hand-to-hand combat ( and looks every bit as disarming ) are hard to  come by, so when MMA fighter Gina Carano was cast as the lead in Steven Soderbergh's Haywire ( 2011 ), it didn't take long for Wonder Woman fans to start drumming up support.
Carano's performance silenced those who thought her lack of experience would be distracting, and landed her roles in the upcoming Fast & Furious 6, and the all-female version of the Expendables. Could Wonder Woman be next?
While she is sure to garner attention fromWarner Bros., unless the studio is going for a hard-hitting and brutal action movie, Carano is a long shot. Then again, she and Henry Cavill have recently revealed that they're an item; if we were the suspicious type, we might wonder how they met. Perhaps there's some truth to those rumors of a Wonder Woman cameo in Man of Steel after all...

3. Gemma Arterton - It's no secret that Gemma Arterton's filmography so far has been less than stellar, critically if not financially. BUt while the films she's appeared in may have been aiming low, nobody seems to have informed her of that. The most recent example being her role as the titular sister in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters ( 2013 ).
Arterton has, so far, made a career out of elevating scripts with strong performances aided by her not-unpleasant looks. But if given a solid character to play - like, say, Wonder Woman, we have no doubt she'd convincingly sell the role. Or at the very least, welcome the challenge.
Since the drawbacks to casting established actresses with mass appeal ( Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale ) in the role is the difficulty in suspending disbelief, Arterton is the best of both worlds. She's stood out in problematic  blockbusters already, but lacks a role that has come to define her - yet.

4. Bridget Regan - casting Wonder Woman may sound like a tall order, but if you ask the online fan communities, Bridget Regan may be the name you hear more than any other. While that tends to be a sign of enthusiast getting ahead of themselves, in this case the argument is a compelling one.
Regan's work on Legend of the Seeker ( 2008 ) is the main evidence of her ability to do Diana Justice: a medieval-fantasy adventure series casting Regan as the last of her order, in a quest to vanquish evil through swords and sorcery ( with a dash of romance for flavor ). It's not easy to hold one's own in battle and dialogue, but over the course of the series two series, Regan created one well-rounded warrior woman.
A relative unknown with two years experience playing a similar role could be the direction the studio wishes to take. If Regan wins the role, skeptics should rest easy: Diana is in good hands with this fan-favorite.

5. Lynn Collins - American Actress. She made television appearances in True Blood and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and is recognized for her roles in films such as X - men Origins: Wolverine and John Carter.

6. Jaimie Alexander-  American Actress best known for portraying Jessi on the TV series Kyle XY and Sif in the 2011 superhero film Thor.

7. Taylor Cole- unknown but cast on Heroes, The Event. A martial arts fan and Junior Olympics volleyball veteran. With her physical stature and authority makes heroes compete for Diana's affection.

Is it safe to wear parfum?

At my age I am so meticulous in what to buy,  to eat, and what to wear which is safe and comfortable. That is why I found out by searching, that if ever we wear perfumer, be sure to look for the content of the one you buy, we might harm our skin. Like the two most common used fragrance chemicals ( Lyral and lilial ) are toxic to our skin especially to mitochondria, and kill living cells. Avoiding scented products can help you avoid this chemicals. This just a reminder to my dear people.
